Logan Community Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is located at 350 Loganlea Road, Meadowbrook, within the church building.
The Food Pantry is part of the overall ministry to Logan City. The Pantry is open every Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11am to 2pm, and on Sunday mornings after the Meadowbrook Christian Church service from 11am to 12.15pm.
Staff are all volunteers. To maximise your shipping experience we suggest that you ship on Tuesday or Friday, as these are the days we replenish our stock from Foodbank Queensland Ltd.
We do not give out food parcels as we have found that personal shopping is more satisfying to the customer. Our goods variety ranges from fruit and veggies, bread, pasta, rice, mild, canned food, baby products, men and women's personal items. We also provide frozen food, as well as refrigerated food and drinks.
We are supplied by Foodbank Queensland Ltd, and by SecondBite who both provide us with free bread and rolls. The best way to utilize our magnificent low prices and save on groceries, is to come shop at our pantry first then continue on to other supermarkets.
NOTE: We cannot guarantee that the same stocked items will be available on a weekly basis. Products are stocked on the Foodbank's availability.
The Pantry is available to anyone in our community.
All profits are used to turnover our stock on a daily basis.
When visiting our pantry, please remember that as of 1st July, 2018 all plastic bags will no longer be available, so we ask that you start now to bring your own cloth bags.
Please tell family members, friends and neighbours about the Pantry. All are welcome and our friendly team of volunteers will be glad to assist you.
